In all fairness, I used this company for major work on my yard gate, and was totally satisfied. The worker was young, and totally knew what he was doing. After losing keys to our house, as a safety precaution I had all the locks changed and re-keyed. The older workman (this time) did good work, except on one door. The workman's expertise was low-level. I didn't discover the problem until he left. When I called the company back to repair the mistake (under warranty), the responded quickly. Unfortunately, the same workman returned. He told us the door was warped (impossible - it has a metal facing), then told us we had too much weatherstripping. He even called his office for advice. The work was not corrected, stating that it required further work on our part. The heart of the problem is the installation of the lock: The exterior side of the deadbolt does not lock easily with the key, unless one makes adjustments to the deadbolt before exiting and locking the deadbolt. Richard, the workman, said that all the other locks he installed throughout our house work in the same manner. He's wrong. We live with the problem, but it makes it difficult when we must instruct anyone on how to lock our doors. I would not hesitate to use the company again, unless the same workman appeared at my door, reporting for duty.
