This type of sushi is what makes a sushi lover turn to a sushi hater! No one was in the place yet the service was soo slow. The cali roll had fake processed crab (not stated on menu) and still smelled like old fish. I was surprised to see the rave reviews, either they are the owners or have never had quality sushi. This restaurant is a dump and the food tastes like it came from a dump. High prices, low quality, poor service

A friend introduced me to Sakura the other day. What a great little place! Service was fast and friendly. Sushi was fresh, tasty and well prepared. Also had vegetable tempura. Delicious. Prices very reasonable. Cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Give this place a try!

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Palm Springs. It isn't fancy - it's in the back of a strip mall - but if you're looking for a great place to have sushi with friends, alone, or on a casual date it's a great place to go.

The sushi is really fresh and the sushi chefs prepare it well. I've tried about half of the dishes on the menu so far and everything I've tried has been delicious and fresh.

Prices are about what you would expect to pay at a casual sushi place - you can get an 8 piece california roll for around $3.95. The wait staff is nice, friendly and attentive without being obtrusive about it.

Basically, if you're looking for fancy this isn't it. If you're looking for good, fresh sushi, this is a great place.
